Job Description
As a Designer at Studio Bhaa, located in Bidadi, Bengaluru, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the womenswear Ready-To-Wear collections. From conceptualization to the final garment, your creative vision, technical expertise, and collaborative approach will be essential in bringing Studio Bhaa's identity to life and resonating with our customers.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing seasonal collections that reflect modernity, experimentation, and relevance, conducting creative research to translate global inspirations into unique design stories, and contributing to styling and art direction for lookbooks and campaigns. Additionally, you will be involved in technical development tasks such as preparing tech packs, overseeing sampling processes, and ensuring precision and innovation in garment construction.
Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, as you will partner with the Creative Director, Buying team, and Pattern teams to align creative objectives with business goals. Your ability to experiment with fabrics, finishes, and techniques while maintaining Studio Bhaa's DNA, as well as leading fittings and mock-ups, will be crucial in creating functional yet experimental garments.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Fashion Design or a related field, possess at least 2 years of experience in womenswear (RTW preferred), and demonstrate a strong foundation in textiles, garment construction, and fit. An eye for contemporary and experimental design, along with skills in styling, fashion illustration, or art direction, will be advantageous. Proficiency in tech packs, sampling-to-production processes, and a collaborative mindset are essential qualities we seek in candidates who are motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about crafting new fashion narratives.
Success in this role will be evident through the development of chic, experimental, and distinctive Studio Bhaa collections, seamless transition from design sketches to final garments, and contributions that enhance the brand's creative storytelling.
