Job Description
At Arthya Tech we are building a Competency center for our client - an US based producer of dairy products. One of these teams will be part of the Manufacturing Excellence team of our client. This team supports manufacturing locations across the globe including US, Europe and India. We are looking at experienced Wonderware / Aveva Scada developers to strengthen this team.
Responsibilities
The role requires the developer to support existing install bases as well as contribute towards enhancements / small developments.
Support Focus
• Supporting break fix issues with existing SCADA and Wonderware automation and reporting
• Analyzing plant server health and digging into performance problems
Development Focus
• Working closely with plant partners to understand SCADA and automation enhancement requirements
• Building/extending/enhancing features and functionalities
• Creating new machine models, IO tags, Historian views, and meaningful graphic/metrics
• Developing and maintaining well-documented and reusable code following established standards
• Adhering to change management and code versioning policies
Qualifications
• 3 to 5 plus years of experience with SCADA Wonderware development and support
• Knowledge and experience using and troubleshooting REST APIs
• Skilled at understanding Visual Basic and .NET languages
• Relational database experience with SQL, developing queries, and using SQL Management Studio
• Prior use of debugging tools such as System Platform Management Console
• Experience with Object viewer to provide real-time data from the Wonderware Galaxy
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple troubleshooting demands at the same time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English
