Location: Woodbridge, Ontario Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Wood Veneer Cutter / Clipper / Splicer Operator to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience with veneer processing, precision cutting, and assembling veneer faces for production.
Responsibilities:
· Operate industrial clipping and guillotine machines to cut veneer to precise sizes
· Assemble wood veneer faces according to specifications
· Perform custom wood veneer matching: diamond, reverse diamond, end match, book match, and slip match
· Trim and square veneer bundles for production readiness
· Inspect materials for quality, grain consistency, and defects
· Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year experience in veneer cutting, clipping, or splicing
· Experience with industrial guillotine cutting machines
· Strong understanding of wood veneer matching techniques
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
