Our owner and designer, Montana, personally collaborates with clients to bring their dream furniture pieces to life, using their choice of wood, hardware, and finishes.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Woodworker at Westwood Vintage Designs. The Woodworker will be responsible for carpentry, using a variety of power and hand tools, woodworking, cabinetry, and creating custom furniture pieces according to client specifications.
Qualifications
• Carpentry and Woodworking skills
• Proficiency with Power Tools and Hand Tools
• Experience in cabinetry
• Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Creativity and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and strength for lifting and working with wood
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• We can train, but some Woodworking experience is preferred.
• An official driver's license
Details: Hours: Flexible, but generally it is 7 AM - 3 PM. If you want to start earlier to end earlier, that is also okay. If you have prior commitment such as another job, or children; we can work around it to try to make it fix.
Pay: Starting pay is $18/hr. If you have more experience to start, or if you stay with the company and improve your skills, pay can be negotiated to be higher.
