• Develop and maintain organizations' and clients' websites using WordPress.
• Create appealing interfaces and navigation for visitors.
• Develop custom plugins for us when needed.
• Integrate third-party APIs with our WordPress site.
• Collaborate with designers to implement new website features and designs.
• Ensure website functionality and performance, including page load speed and mobile responsiveness.
• Manage and maintain the website, including updates, backups, and security.
• Monitor website analytics and implement SEO strategies (with feedback from the SEO team) to improve website traffic and rankings.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure website content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand standards.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and trends, and recommend improvements to website functionality and design.
• Troubleshoot website issues (including site crashes, broken links, and error messages) and provide technical support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
• Create a knowledge base of best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to develop a talent pool.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in WordPress development and website management.
• Strong knowledge of securely integrating third-party tools and services.
• Knowledge of website security best practices and experience in implementing security measures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a strong tech team.
• Good to have proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an eye for detail
