Job Description
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications. You will work closely with the development team to implement website designs, customize themes, create plugins, and ensure optimal performance and functionality of WordPress sites. This position is ideal for a fresher looking to kickstart their career in web development with a focus on WordPress.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Development: Collaborate with the design team to convert website designs into fully functional WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Theme Customization: Customize and modify existing WordPress themes to meet client requirements, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.
Plugin Development (not mandatory): Create custom WordPress plugins to extend the functionality of websites, such as adding contact forms, implementing e-commerce features, integrating social media, etc.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
Content Management: Upload, manage, and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, using the WordPress CMS.
Optimization and Performance: Implement best practices for optimizing website speed, performance, and security, including caching, minification, and security measures.
Responsive Design: Ensure websites are fully responsive and mobile-friendly, providing a seamless user experience across different devices and screen sizes.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Stay Updated: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, WordPress updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
