Senior WordPress Developer

Your expertise in PHP and WordPress development, along with your problem-solving skills, will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, utilizing PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while adhering to coding standards, best practices, and industry trends.
2. Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins, integrating client-specific functionalities and design requirements, using popular tools and technologies such as Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPT), and Theme Customizer.
3. Collaborate closely with the design and development teams to implement new features and functionality into WordPress websites, utilizing tools like Visual Composer, Elementor, or Divi Builder.
4. Troubleshoot and debug issues in WordPress themes, plugins, and websites, utilizing debugging tools like Query Monitor or Debug Bar, and providing timely resolutions.
5. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and utilizing version control systems like Git or SVN.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and emerging technologies in WordPress development, including themes, plugins, and security measures, using resources like the WordPress Codex, official WordPress forums, or specialized blogs.
7. Optimize WordPress websites for performance and scalability, implementing caching mechanisms with tools like WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, or Redis, optimizing database queries, and integrating Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
8. Implement responsive design principles and ensure cross-browser compatibility, delivering seamless user experiences across devices and platforms, using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.

3. Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and filters, leveraging them effectively to extend WordPress functionality and using popular frameworks like Genesis or Thesis.
4. In-depth knowledge of popular WordPress frameworks and libraries, such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, Visual Composer, or Oxygen Builder, for efficient and flexible front-end development.
