Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
Customize and develop WordPress themes based on design specifications, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly experience.
Implement and extend WordPress plugins to add new functionality to websites.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing WordPress sites and plugins, and implement effective solutions.
Optimize websites for speed, performance, and responsiveness.
Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to integrate front-end components with WordPress themes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and platforms.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Solid understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
Ability to customize and modify existing WordPress themes and plugins.
Familiarity with responsive web design principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and learn from experienced developers.
Passion for web development and eagerness to learn and grow as a WordPress Developer.
