JD WordPress Developer
Job Role & Responsibilities:
• Lead development activities for website, landing pages and custom mailer etc. with a team of designer, content, and marketing experts.
• Ensure the final design mockups are translated into production as per industry standard.
• Evaluate completed work and offer answers to roadblocks for optimized results.
• Troubleshoot for bugs, brainstorm options, and provide solutions to allotted challenges.
• Maintain all the front-end development tasks, including website maintenance, plugin updates, custom scripts, CSS improvements.
• Collaborate directly with designers to implement designs for campaigns that require custom landing pages and mailer templates.
• Constantly evaluate ways to optimize tags, scripts, code, and other html attributes to improve websites and other pages for multiple platforms.
• Participate, plan, implement and keep track of all technical metrics needed by the marketing team.
Job Skills & Experience:
• Graduate – MCA, MSC IT or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience with WordPress implementation and customization theme, plugin, scripts, code etc.
• Extensive experience in HTML and CSS
• Prolific experience in JS and building responsive and accessible websites.
• Solid understanding of web standards, cross-browser behavior, and performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Working ability to translate designs into semantic, accessible front-end code.
• Familiarity with other web developments will be an added advantage.
• Fluent in verbal and written English
