Responsibilities
• Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes. Ensure code is clean, modular, and well-documented.
• Database Management: Optimize WordPress databases for performance and scalability. Ensure data integrity and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to extend WordPress functionality. Connect WordPress sites with third-party services and applications.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize WordPress sites for speed and performance. Implement caching, minification, and other techniques to enhance site performance.
• Security: Ensure the security of WordPress sites by implementing best practices and security measures. Regularly update and patch WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve backend issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing WordPress sites.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical team members.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and configurations. Prepare and present progress reports as needed.
