Join our team as a dedicated WordPress and Shopify Developer, working full-time to craft and manage exceptional WordPress sites and Shopify e-commerce stores. You'll play a key role in a dynamic team, collaborating with our design, marketing, and project management groups to create outstanding digital experiences that not only fulfill but surpass client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop bespoke WordPress themes and Shopify stores tailored to client specifications.
- Enhance and customize WordPress plugins and Shopify apps to introduce new features and functionalities.
- Apply responsive design techniques to ensure a smooth user experience across both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Improve website and store performance focusing on speed, SEO, and conversion optimization.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold high-quality development standards and guarantee project success.
- Keep abreast of the latest updates trends, and best practices in WordPress and Shopify ecosystems.
- Offer ongoing technical support and troubleshoot client issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable expertise in developing WordPress sites, themes, and plugins.
- Demonstrable expertise in developing Shopify stores, themes, and apps.
- Skilled in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid templating language, and MySQL.
- A solid grasp of responsive design and mobile-first web development.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of additional CMS or e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
