Job Title: Remote Full-Time WordPress Developer (E-commerce Focus)

Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain e-commerce websites using WordPress and relevant plugins.
Collaborate with clients and project managers to gather requirements and translate them into functional websites.
Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal user experience across various devices.
Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs.
Troubleshoot and debug website issues, ensuring efficient and effective resolution.
Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and front-end developers, to deliver seamless integration of design and functionality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and e-commerce solutions.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, with a focus on e-commerce website development.
Strong proficiency in WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive design principles.
Experience working with popular e-commerce plugins such as WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, or similar.
Familiarity with payment gateways, shipping integrations, and inventory management systems.
Proficiency in PHP and MySQL for advanced customization and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients in a remote setting.
Strong experience in WooCommerce development is a significant plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and caching strategies.
Familiarity with web security principles and best practices.
Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with other content management systems (CMS) and frameworks.
