As the WordPress Developer Intern at IIDE, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining high-quality websites for IIDE and its partners. This role involves working on web development projects using platforms like Divi, Oxygen, and Elementor, while ensuring that the websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and maintaining the latest knowledge of emerging technologies and trends.
What You'll Do
Website Development:
• Work on Divi WordPress theme, Divi Builder, Oxygen Builder, and Elementor to create and update website pages as per requirements.
• Handle multiple projects with flexible requirements and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
Front-End Development
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery (optional), and other relevant technologies to ensure website functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Technical Innovation
• Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology.
• Suggest and implement new solutions to improve existing websites, collaborating with the team to drive innovation.
Project Management
• Work quickly and carefully to complete small edits requested by the team, while developing plans for larger projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient project delivery and enhance website performance.
SEO Optimization
• Ensure website pages are SEO-friendly by applying basic SEO knowledge and techniques.
Must-Have
Who You Are:
• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing graduation in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Proficiency with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (optional).
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• A keen eye for design and user experience.
Should Have
• Familiarity with PHP (considered an advantage).
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Have
• Knowledge of programming languages and technical terminology.
• Experience developing ideas and processes and effectively communicating them to the team.
