We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our growing team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites and themes. You will collaborate with our design and content teams to create user-friendly, high-performance websites that meet both business and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Ensure the website is fully responsive and optimized for performance across all devices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.
Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend website functionality.
Work with the design team to implement web design changes.
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to enhance the user experience.
Conduct website updates and implement security improvements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and website optimization.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development.
Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, etc.
Knowledge of website optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and web security.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
Experience with WooCommerce development and e-commerce website management.
Knowledge of website speed optimization tools and techniques.
Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
