Wordpress Developer

Roles and Responsibilities • Excellent knowledge and proven past experience in WordPress • Facilitating connection between databases and WordPress components • Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery. • Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN. • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug. • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics and ability to project manage independently. • Meeting with respective authority to discuss website design and function. • Knowledge of custom theme development, plugin integration & development, managing the website back-end including database and server integration. • Troubleshooting web seed issues, monitoring the performance of the live website. • Developing new backend features and plugins, custom functionality, theme integration, theme development and plug-in development • developing and maintaining complex WordPress applications • API Development & Integration • In-depth understanding of performance and security in WordPress • Developing/modifying custom WordPress/Woo-Commerce themes and plugins. • In depth knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, JS (jQuery), CSS, and HTML. • Good understanding of version control like git, Git workflow with CI/CD. • Knowledge of JavaScript Framework like jQuery or React, WPRest API and WPCLI. Required Candidate profile • Must have Dev Lead experience in leading and managing Enterprise applications, multiple project releases. • Java/JEE/RDBMS/Unix/Ext JS/Angular JS, Spring, Webservices. • Strong leadership experience is required with hands on to manage a team. • A candidate who has an understanding of Core PHP and HTML along with WordPress is right candidate for us. • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development • Knowledge of Speed Optimization and SEO onpage Fundamentals • An understanding of front-end optimization techniques • Excellent knowledge of website speed optimization (Google Page Insights) • Experience working with Ready Made Theme, Plugins, and customization as per needs
