The Job
Our client seeks a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Converting HTML to custom WP themes
• Converting a PSD/AI/Figma or equivalent software design to fully responsive HTML CSS is a must.
• Creating or integrating plugins as per project requirements.
• Customizing functionalities in existing WP websites as per project requirements.
• Fixing bugs identified after a quality check.
• Converting static HTML to custom WordPress theme with custom PHP code.
The Profile
• You have 2-3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.
• You have good Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Core PHP and MySQL.
• You have knowledge of customization in themes, templates, plugins and integration and custom post types
• You have experience working in WordPress at a PHP code level.
• You have knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions.
• You have experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, understanding the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, is preferred.
• You have experience in WordPress, E-commerce Sites (Woo-commerce) Development.
• You have knowledge of WordPress Hooks.
• You have experience with page builder plugins (Visual composer, Elementor, DIVI etc).
• You have experience in Customize WooCommerce.
• You have experience in Plugin modification and customization and Create Plugins from scratch.
• You have experience in converting HTML/CSS to WordPress theme.
• We prefer not to rely on plugins very much so clean code from scratch is required.
• Knowledge of Framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter) is a plus.
