Key Responsibilities:
WordPress Website Development: Develop custom WordPress websites and themes based on client requirements and design specifications.
Plugin Integration: Integrate and configure third-party plugins to enhance website functionality and meet client needs.
Customization: Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
Front-end Development: Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Back-end Development: Handle server-side development tasks, including database management, PHP coding, and server configuration.
Content Management: Assist in content creation, uploading, and organization within the WordPress platform.
Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed and performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to website functionality, compatibility, and responsiveness.
Security: Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard websites from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaboration: Work closely with the design team, project managers, and other developers to ensure seamless project delivery.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in WordPress and web technologies to bring innovative solutions to projects.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
Familiarity with WordPress coding standards and best practices.
Experience with custom theme and plugin development in WordPress.
Knowledge of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrating e-commerce functionality into WordPress websites (e.g., WooCommerce).
Familiarity with popular page builders and WordPress frameworks.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they relate to WordPress development.
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
Experience in other content management systems is a plus.
