Job Description
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, creating custom plugins and themes, and ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of the sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with responsive design and web development best practices.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites
• Create custom plugins and themes
• Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of WordPress sites
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions
• Stay up-to-date with WordPress developments and trends, and incorporate them into projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
• Conduct website testing to ensure optimal functionality
• Monitor website traffic, user engagement, and other metrics to improve website performance
• Provide ongoing website maintenance and support
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong understanding of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with the custom plugin and theme development
• Experience with responsive design and web development best practices
• Knowledge of website optimization techniques and website security best practices
• Familiarity with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
