Job Summary

The Elite Job is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage and process invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors. Key Responsibilities

Process and review invoices for accuracy and appropriate approvals.

Ensure timely and accurate payment processing, including checks, wire transfers, and electronic payments.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain vendor records, ensuring up-to-date payment terms and contact details.

Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

Respond to vendor inquiries and build strong supplier relationships.

• Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

2+ years of experience in an accounts payable or finance-related role.

Experience working remotely is a plus.
