We are on the lookout for seasoned Legal/Judicial contract professionals with extensive experience in transcribing depositions and hearings. This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work independently as an Independent Contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
Ensure transcripts are produced in strict accordance with established style guides
Maintain exceptional standards of grammar and clarity in all output
Collaborate with our in-office team to address any challenges that may arise during transcription
Required Skills
Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
Exceptional listening abilities and adherence to deadlines
Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar
Proficient typing speed and accuracy
Capability to process sensitive audio/text content (may contain sensitive material)
Familiarity with legal terminology is essential
Remote collaboration skills are a must
Background check is required
Court reporting students are encouraged to apply
Qualifications
Significant experience in legal transcription is required
Familiarity with legal terminology is necessary
