REPORTS TO: HR Manager
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Salaried, Exempt
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Generalist develops and implements effective Human Resource policies, programs, and processes in support of organizational needs and team members’ needs. Provides services in recruiting/selection, team member complaint investigation/response, Personal Performance Management, pay administration actions/transfers, job description development and career pathing. Works with HR Manager and Mobis management to develop and implement positive culture-building programs, employee appreciation/recognition, workers' compensation/return to work actions and proactive member communications. Provides guidance on Human Resource policy, Federal, Stat,e and local laws and regulations and corrective actions. Helps to create and implement training for the leadership team and member development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:
• Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Conduct pre-employment phone screenings and facilitate onboarding when needed.
• Create job descriptions: Write job descriptions that clearly outline the role's responsibilities, skills, and qualifications.
• Post job openings: Advertise job openings on company websites, social media, and job boards.
• Source candidates: Use online channels to find potential candidates, including social media and professional platforms.
• Screen applications: Review resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles to assess a candidate's qualifications.
• Provides counsel and support to managers on issues of company/HR policy application, and provides HR services to team members.
• Resolve employee relations issues. Investigates, counsels and assists in resolving disputes along with correct documentation.
• Conduct ER investigations, analyze organizational issues, and work in partnership with the HR Manager to develop and execute plans to address problem areas.
• Provide guidance on employment-related issues (such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, discrimination, diversity, corrective action and progressive discipline) to operations leadership.
• Prepares KPI’s and identifies trends in employee-related issues, turnover, and performance trends and provides solutions to operations leadership.
• Facilitate HR processes and operations programs to ensure an ethical, fair and consistent approach.
• Creates and develops a model for sustaining positive employee relations and positive culture building.
• Assist with the creation and implementation of effective training and development programs to meet SOP requirements, skill proficiency and development needs.
• Supports the development and administration of programs, policies, and processes to facilitate employee and organizational development.
• Assist with the organization's performance management process by coaching, educating, and providing feedback to managers/employees.
• Performs other assignments as directed.
• Process employee data for new hires, changes, additional earnings, etc.
• Maintaining confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Assists and helps plan employee engagement-related events.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, tasks relating to the following areas will be assigned as required.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Master’s Degree or MBA a strong plus.
• Minimum of 5 years professional and relevant experience required.
• SHRM-CP or equivalent is highly desired.
DESIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Experience with SAP & Paylocity highly desired.
• Strong understanding of all HR related compliance law.
• Familiar with Paylocity is also a plus
• Proven abilities in process improvement are also a plus
• Strong Communication: HR Generalist needs to be able to convey job requirements and company offerings to candidates.
• Relationship building: HR Generalist needs to be able to build connections with potential candidates and stay in touch with those who were not offered a position.
• Time management: HR Generalist needs to be able to juggle multiple tasks and stay organized.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
• A typical work week is 45 hours/week.
• WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.

Qualifications
Required:
• 1+ years of experience with Workday HCM data structures, configurations, and data sets
• Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
• Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia)
• Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
• Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
• Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required Workday certifications
• Bachelor's Degree
