We are seeking a Workers' Compensation Administrator II for our home office location in Westmont.

Starting salary range: $60,000 - $70,000.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review injury reports from client and employees.

• Evaluate injury reports to assess compensation and to determine the anticipated cost of each claim.

• Approve medical treatment, hospitalization, and surgery.

• Calculate wages for the Average weekly wages to determine Indemnity exposure.

• Coordinate payment of medical bills, disability compensation, and death benefits.

• Maintain records, files, and databases of claims; prepares summary reports of collected data.

• Provide client companies and employees with updates regarding workers’ compensation benefits.

• Explain proper management of workers’ compensation claims to client employers.

• Prepare and report OSHA 300 logs for all clients.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable workers’ compensation laws, procedures, and regulations.

• Extensive knowledge of medical and technical terminology used in workers’ compensation cases.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to explain rules and policies.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• At least two years related experience with workers’ compensation claims required.

• Completion of a certificate course in workers’ compensation administration or similar training required.
