As a Workflow Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for identifying repetitive tasks across business operations and creating smart, end-to-end automations. You’ll work with tools like n8n, Zapier, Make (Integromat), Airtable, Notion, CRMs, email platforms, and AI APIs to build efficient, scalable automations that save time and boost productivity.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy workflow automations across tools, systems, and platforms
• Integrate APIs between CRMs, databases, communication tools, and third-party applications
• Automate internal operations like email workflows, notifications, lead routing, and data syncing
• Work with n8n, Zapier, Make, Pabbly, or similar automation tools to streamline processes
• Implement AI-driven automations using OpenAI, LangChain, or custom Python scripts
• Develop smart automation dashboards and monitoring systems
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify automation opportunities
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automations for performance and reliability
• Document workflow architecture and standard operating procedures
Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in workflow automation or system integration
• Proficiency in tools like n8n, Zapier, Make (Integromat), Pabbly Connect, or Microsoft Power Automate
• Strong understanding of APIs, Webhooks, and JSON
• Experience with email and CRM automation (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
• Ability to integrate AI models (OpenAI API, ChatGPT, LangChain, etc.) into workflows
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Airtable, and project management tools
• Basic coding/scripting knowledge (Python or JavaScript preferred)
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
• Experience with AI Agents or RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
• Knowledge of database automation (MySQL, Airtable, MongoDB)
• Understanding of REST API authentication and security
• Ability to automate multi-step workflows with conditional logic
• Creative thinking to design “smart” business automations
