Our Workplace Experience team enables Egnyte employees to be their best and to then achieve outstanding outcomes.
The WX team is part of the Human Resources organization, and we are focused on our most valuable asset- our people.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Report to the Global Director of Workplace Experience
• Temporary role is for approximately 7 months to backfill an existing successful employee while she is on maternity leave
• Interact regularly with employees at all levels of our company
• This is a remote position, but if located in one of the cities where we have a monthly Office Day meet-up, be at that event
• Some additional travel within India may be required as needed
• Be the “face of the workplace experience team" for our employees in India
• Will be the local culture ambassador to help bring alive Egnyte's employee culture
• Manage the online Egnyte swag store
• Manage the monthly meet-ups in co-working spaces in 5 cities
• Distribute gifts/prizes to employees
• Responsible for some employee communications
• Arrange events and meetings for teams and visitors in India (travel will be required when necessary to support the event or gathering in-person)
• Assist in onboarding and off-boarding process of employees
• Occasionally support the HR team with tasks
• Partner with IT, Workplace Experience and HR globally on policies and procedures
• Support in shipments within the country
• Track invoices and expenses, along with managing the overall experience budget
• Possibly coordinate travel for team members and visitors
• Additional tasks assigned on an as needed basis
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor
• Solid critical thinking skills and troubleshooting ability
• Motivated with the ability to work under little direct supervision
• Ability to represent HR and Workplace Experience professionally at all times
• Experience with standard business suite tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must
• Ability to multitask
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• The candidate selected for this role must be very comfortable with change, while embracing occasional chaos
• Previous experience with supporting employee experience and engagement is a must, preference to someone who has worked with IT companies in the past
