The Opportunity
This is a brand new and unique role and interacts with Executive leaders within Advisory and Legal to work on joined-up outcomes for clients.
Your key activities will include:-
Lead and support the legal delivery of professional workplace relations matters
Provide specialist support to our HR Advice Line team, supporting advisors and contingent teams with technical depth and risk management
Act as a trusted escalation point on complex or sensitive matters
Support the conversion and delivery of workplace relations matters
Contribute to the development of commercial strategies that position contingent work as a gateway to longer-term client partnerships
Provide subject-matter expertise to support the development of ad-hoc alerts, marketing collateral, thought leadership or client-facing materials
Support the account management of large and strategic clients
Our Ideal Person
This is not a traditional advisory or billable-hour legal role. Instead, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality workplace relations expertise on complex and high-risk matters while also helping to identify and convert growth opportunities across the Citation Group.
Our ideal person will have the technical workplace relations expertise to advise on complex matters, coupled with commercial acumen and a growth mindset. You will be passionate and positive about delivering quality advice and services to clients along with a natural flair for collaboration and communication with your colleagues.
1–3 years PAE in Employment or Workplace Law as a qualified solicitor, or similar experience as an ER/IR practitioner
Commercially aware with confidence to engage with clients on services, pricing or converting leads
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and proactively build your workload
A collaborative approach with clients and colleagues
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with a strong focus on quality and the client experience
Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast-paced environment when required
