Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Workshop Assistant to join our production team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and finishing stages of curtain making, including cutting and ironing fabrics, ensuring all materials are ready for sewing and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and cut fabric accurately according to work orders and design specifications.
Iron and prepare fabrics to ensure a professional finish.
Assist with fabric handling, labeling, and organizing materials.
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Support the production team with other general workshop duties as required.
Skills and Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to measure and cut precisely.
Experience using ironing and cutting tools (training provided if needed).
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a small team.
Basic understanding of fabrics or textile work is an advantage but not essential.
Must be available minimum 4 days a week. Minimum 5 hour shifts
MUST BE BASED IN PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA AND ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN AUSTRALIA

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
