Job Profile : Workshop Manager
Job Responsibility :
Manage daily workshop work – Plan and assign repair and maintenance jobs.
Supervise mechanics – Guide and monitor technicians’ work.
Ensure vehicle repairs are done properly – Check quality before delivery.
Reduce vehicle downtime – Make sure trucks/buses return to service quickly.
Maintain safety standards – Keep the workshop safe and follow rules.
Control spare parts and costs – Monitor stock and avoid waste.
Keep records and reports – Maintain job cards and service history.
Communicate with customers or fleet managers – Update repair status and costs.
Skill required :
Strong technical knowledge of heavy diesel vehicles
Leadership and people management skills
Problem-solving ability
Budgeting and cost control knowledge
Knowledge of fleet maintenance software
Good communication skills
Location : Ganjam
Salary - 35000.00 - 50000.00
Experience : Min 8-9 years as Wokshop Manager
