This company, who operate across 100+ sites across Europe and further afield are looking to recruit an experienced workshop trailer mechanic to join the team in Dagenham. You will either be time served, or have your level 1, 2 or 3 relevant qualification and a technical background / experience in trailer repairs.
With your main purpose being to maintain and repair to a measured quality standard, the Heavy Goods trailers of the company (primarily trailers).
Responsibilities of this role include:
• To inspect, service and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures and mandatory EHS legislation
• To ensure all compliance details are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• To undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company
• Provide high customer service levels whilst working to specified deadlines
• Must always adhere to the company’s health & safety policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Welding experience - preferable
• Double deck maintenance experience – preferable
• High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills
• Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation
• Good organisational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
• Initiative to work autonomously if required.
Salary and package:
£38,000 - £44,000pa basic subject to experience & qualifications
25 days A/L + bank holidays
£500 joining bonus (paid after 12 months service)

Permanent full-time – 10 hour shift, Mon-Fri with 30 mins paid break per day and 1 hr per day unpaid lunch break.
Great opportunity for overtime at time and a half, Sundays and BH are paid at double time with a day in lieu also given for BH working.
