Duties
Act as the primary point of contact for patients, scheduling appointments and follow-ups efficiently
Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate documentation
Maintain and update patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence
Provide information to patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, or billing inquiries
Ensure that all documentation aligns with medical terminology and office protocols
Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth workflow within the office setting
Skills
Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and administrative procedures
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in office software and medical management systems
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare team members
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA)
Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient-centered care
