Job Description:
The firm is seeking writers with the capability to assist in translating complex scientific and professional jargon into understandable and persuasive content.
The applicant would work together with the attorney and paralegal as a team to develop a strategy for each case in order to evaluate, research, analyze and draft successful Petitions and Applications.
You will be assisting the US Attorneys in writing persuasive arguments based on an interpretation of US law.
The ability to write persuasively at a high level in English is necessary to succeed in this position.
A successful candidate will have excellent writing, research and analytical skills to assume responsibility in an active US immigration practice.
The majority of the work will involve drafting legal memoranda involving self-petitioning professionals who qualify for permanent residency in the U.S.
secondary to their extraordinary abilities or due to an endeavor they intend to perform in the U.S.
that we assist in demonstrating is of substantial merit and national importance (EB-1a and EB-2 NIW Cases).
Candidates will be asked why they would be successful in writing legal arguments in English no experience working for a US law firm is required but experience crafting arguments or communicating in English on a professional level is highly recommended.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree as a minimum, preferably with a strong focus on writing;
• 2 years experience writing in English at a professional level strongly preferred;
• Strong research and writing skills;
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work well under deadlines.

Compensation:
US $1200 per month
