Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Writer role located in Mercer Island, WA. The Writer will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing written content across multiple platforms for internal and external communications. Day-to-day tasks include conducting thorough research, developing concepts for written materials, creating engaging articles, reports, and marketing copy, and ensuring all communications adhere to brand guidelines and audience needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality content and deliverables will be a key part of this role.
Qualifications
• Proven skills in Professional Writing, Editing, and Proofreading
• Experience in Content Development, Research, and Storytelling
• Knowledge of Branding, Marketing, and Copywriting for various audiences
• Ability to effectively plan and execute Content Strategies that align with organizational goals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with digital tools, including content management systems and basic design tools
• Experience in an educational or non-profit sector is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
