Job Description
Corporate On-boarding Centre (COBC) is one of the verticals under Transaction Banking Operations (under WBO) which handles Account Opening for New to Bank (NTB) and Existing Customer (ETB) of the Bank. Additionally, it on-boards the Customers even for Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) facility.
It also handles on-boarding of ETB Customers for the Cash Management Service (CMS) offered by the Bank. CMS being value-added services offered by the Bank towards collection of Cash / Cheque facilities under door-step banking. Bank even offers tailor-made Payments as well as various services under CMS.
About the Role:
The COBC act as SPOC for Current Account opening for Partnership and LLP, Public and Private Ltd. Companies, Government related Accounts. The CMS and CIB activation is handled exclusively by COBC. Presently the Team Size is 55-Bank Officials and 45-Outsourced Staffs.
Key Responsibilities
• Process defined number of Current Account / CIB / CMS AOFs on a daily-basis
• Follow-up and assist the Branches for the pending queries resolution
• Escalate any wrong means adopted by Branches
• Ensure submission of day to day internal MIS
Qualifications:
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
• Any Degree / Professional Degree preferred
• Experience: 5 - 8 years in Banking, out of which atleast 2-Years Operations - Bank / FI / NBFC preferred
Role Proficiencies:
For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following:
• Should be aware of various documents required for processing and Current Account Opening, CMS and CIB Set-ups. Should have typing skills as various CMS / CIB Software Set-up require data-entry.
• Should have working knowledge of FATCA / Beneficial Ownership / Board Resolution / STR / Negative Scrubbing
• IT knowledge - Excel / Power Point / Presentation Skills
