Job Description For X-ray Operator – Quality
Candidate must be –
• ITI / Diploma Mechanical / Equivalent from reputed institute
• Certified Radiography testing level II by BARC
• Radiographic Testing Digital Radiography + ASNT Level II (Conventional X-Ray Testing)
• Radiographic Testing EN ISO +712 Level II (Conventional X-Ray Testing) – Nice to have
• Experience – 3 to 5 yrs industry experience
Expected Job responsibilities –
• Operate the Xray machine & support testing equipment
• Assist in servicing / maintenance and testing as per AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board)
norms
• Interpretation (Analysis) of X-Ray result (digital films) as per ASNT & EN ISO Standards
• Communication of X-Ray result
• Maintain production logbook & testing result, and maintain Checklist
• Retention of records as per norms
• Minimum 6 months operating experience of Yxlon / equivalent industrial X-Ray Machine
• Must have working experience in ASNT & EN ISO +712, X-Ray Testing (minimum 6 months)
• Good to have welding operator (TIG welding, MIG welding, Butt & fillet welding) – Nice to have
• Welding testing & inspection – Nice to have
