Job Overview:

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video footage into polished, compelling final products. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, creative flair, and experience in both narrative and promotional video content. This role involves working closely with team members to ensure the final product aligns with our brand and messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into engaging and cohesive video content, including promotional videos, social media content, interviews, and more.
- Storytelling: Create a compelling narrative through video by selecting and arranging footage, adding transitions, sound effects, and music to enhance the viewer’s experience.
- Collaboration: Work team members to understand project goals, provide creative input, and ensure the final product meets expectations.
- Content Management: Organize and manage video files, ensuring all assets are properly labelled, stored, and backed up.
- Revisions: Make revisions and updates based on feedback from clients or internal stakeholders, maintaining flexibility and attention to detail.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the final video is polished and meets technical standards, including colour correction, audio levels, and format specifications.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and production to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to projects.
