Job Title: Assistant Fashion Designer & Store Manager Location: Thread Game, Ahmedabad (Onsite, Full-time) About Us: Thread Game is a niche luxury brand specializing in sustainable, handwoven, and hand-spun fabrics like Khadi, Kala Cotton, and Jamdani. Our mission is to promote Indian heritage textiles while supporting rural artisans. We cater to customers who appreciate elegance, simplicity, and exclusivity in fashion. Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Assistant Fashion Designer & Store Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, onsite role at our Ahmedabad store. The ideal candidate should have a passion for sustainable fashion, a strong sense of design, and the ability to manage store operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Fashion Design & Product Development: - Assist in designing and developing new collections, ensuring alignment with Thread Game’s brand aesthetics. - Work closely with artisans and production teams to ensure quality and timely production. - Conduct market research and stay updated with fashion trends in sustainable clothing. - Maintain records of materials, fabrics, and production timelines. Offline Store Management: - Oversee daily operations of the offline store, ensuring smooth workflow. - Assist customers with styling, fabric knowledge, and purchase decisions. - Manage inventory, stock levels, and in-store displays. - Handle customer queries and provide excellent customer service. Online Store & Marketplace Management: - Manage Thread Game’s online store, ensuring timely product listings and updates. - Handle online marketplaces including order processing and customer follow-ups. - Track and analyze online sales performance and suggest improvements. - Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth delivery and return processes. Qualifications & Skills: - Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in fashion design and/or retail store management. - Strong understanding of sustainable fabrics, handwoven textiles, and ethical fashion. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Proficiency in managing online stores and marketplaces. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Fluent English Writing, Speaking skills for online description of listing and also conversation with online and offline customers. - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
