In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Required Qualifications:
Graduate/post graduate with 12+ years of experience
ETL- Ab-initio working experience of 8+ year
Minimum 8+ years of experience in technical Production support environment.
Working knowledge of ITRS Geneos
Database- Teradata/SQL experience- 6+ years
Scheduler- Autosys experience - 6+ yaers
Sound knowledge on UNIX/Linux Operating System and scripting skills.
Job Expectations:
Responsible for the technical support for Data Warehouse/Data Mart/Data Lake within the Line of Business.
Responsible for analyzing the failures, provide work around and perform Root Cause Analysis for complex ETL jobs and report the same appropriately.
Troubleshoot complex incident and provides guidance to less experienced staff. Leads onboarding of new applications to production.
Develops new documentation, participates in the development of technical procedures, runbook, playbook and guides
Responsible for applications metrics, analyze and isolate any potential bottlenecks
Effectively collaborate with the partners (Developer, DBA and infra) in the effective resolution of a given problem and deliver on time
Troubleshooting complex job failure, Autosys contention due to Server or DB performance, ETL or database failures.
Generate and implement innovative solution to bring efficiency and effectiveness.
Working knowledge of ETL tool (Ab-initio), Teradata (SQL), Linux and Data warehousing environment is required.
Coordination and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams like Infrastructure or DBA or Business.
Very good understanding of Version Control process and tools.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and use strong writing and verbal skills to communicate facts, figures, and ideas to others. Deliver effective presentations and speeches.
Consistently generate creative, resourceful solutions to problems, clarify complex data or situations so that others can comprehend, respond, and contribute.
Desired Qualifications
Good knowledge on Hadoop and Big-Data.
Cloud certification (GCP).
