For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program, Inc./Reach Academy is looking for a Youth
Coordinator to join our team. We are located at 7318 Sunshine Grove Rd. Brooksville, FL 34613
NATURE AND SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT:
Youth Coordinator gives vision and leadership to the strategic and day-to-day operation of the youth program. Youth Coordinator is expected to oversee and support the integrity of the program, exercise considerable tact, discretion, and judgment in all areas of the assignment. They must be energetic and people-friendly and have exceptional customer service and attention to detail with the ability to organize and create orderly systems. Youth Coordinator is responsible for making sure that the program is following all state & federal laws. This person will organize meetings and training, compile reports, arrange travel, communicate with team members and clients consistently, and ensure the program operations run smoothly. Matters of confidentiality are given close attention by the Executive Director. Youth Coordinator must have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups of youth, peers, parents, team members, and community partners.
Qualifications
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Three or more years of experience in a similar field.
Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies you to perform the assignment.
Pass a level two background screening.
Experience working with children.
Proficient with computers and office software, including Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides) project management software, Email, and calendar scheduling tools (Outlook, Google Calendar) data entry, google chrome, social media, printing, coping, fax, scanning, constant contact, social media, marketing, etc.
Proficient use of basic arithmetic computations; English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and skilled in composing and typing letters, memorandums, reports, with the ability to communicate and convey ideas effectively and in a professional manner.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate to document and articulate all concerns accurately and clearly.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to exercise independent judgment, work without direct supervision, and have a high sense of urgency and follow-up.
Ability to manage multiple duties concurrently and accurately complete assigned duties within a specified timeline and meet deadlines as directed.
Ability to interact courteously with team members and the public, both in-person and by telephone.
Ability to adapt to change
