Job Description

A community leadership initiative in Brampton is seeking motivated students to join our Youth Engagement Team for the summer. This internship is designed for students who are passionate about community service, youth leadership, public policy, and local engagement.

Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting community programs, youth initiatives, and outreach activities that connect young people with leadership opportunities and civic engagement.

Responsibilities

Assist with organizing youth-focused community events and initiatives
Support outreach to local high schools, colleges, and universities
Help recruit and coordinate participants for youth leadership programs
Conduct research on issues affecting youth and the local community
Assist with communications, event promotion, and social media outreach
Provide administrative and logistical support for community activities
Engage with local organizations and youth groups
Qualifications

Current high school, college, or university student
Strong interest in community engagement, leadership, or public affairs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Organized, proactive, and able to take initiative
Experience with social media, event planning, or outreach is an asset
