JOB DESCRIPTION
This YouTube Video Editor\Creator will assist with the YouTube video process. It will be responsible for the video content posted to YouTube. The YouTube Video Editor\Creator will be responsible for producing new video content, editing existing content, & re-purpose content to help achieve the YouTube goals. It will require a responsive and professional interfacing with internal and external teams.
This YouTube Video Editor\Creator will be a central point of contact for the YouTube video content - ensuring the video content is appropriate and successfully drives views, view time, & sales.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with programming and content leaders within the organization to ensure the video content is aligned with the rest of the organization.
• Stay current with social video trends to ensure appropriate and timely videos are created and posted.
• Ensure that every YouTube video is aligned with Shop LC creative guidelines.
• Ensure each YouTube video has appropriate links and tracking elements in place.
• Work directly with internal social and content teams to maximize social presence and content performance.
• Effectively communicate with the Shop LC team any opportunities or issues with content and related terms.
• Leverage current and emerging video related technology such as AI video creation.
• Monitor and report on YouTube content performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in the area of Video Editing, Creative, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of proven experience with YouTube, video media, and Social Media in relevant industries.
• Experience with YouTube video editing and posting.
• Experience with high volume & programmatic video posting to YouTube.
• Experience of successfully working in a dynamic and demanding work environment.
• Experience working with both internal and external clients.
• Strong communications skills, including reading and writing in English.
• Strong people & project management skills – in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong knowledge and experience working with technical systems – an innovative and logical thinker
• Well organized and highly structured individual, with ability to give attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to apply data in providing solutions and driving to business goals.
