About the Role:
As a Fresher Assistant Fashion Designer at Zara, you will have the opportunity to kickstart your career in the fashion industry and gain hands-on experience in design and product development. • Participate in design reviews and fittings, providing feedback and making adjustments as needed to ensure the quality and fit of garments.
• Support the production team in sourcing materials, reviewing samples, and coordinating the production process to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain organized records of design projects, including sketches, specifications, and sample approvals, to track progress and facilitate communication within the team.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing design files, updating product databases, and preparing presentations for design meetings.
• Adapt to changing priorities and timelines, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Strong passion for fashion and a keen interest in pursuing a career in fashion design.
• Creative flair and artistic skills, with the ability to sketch and illustrate design concepts.
• Basic knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
