Key Responsibilities -
1. Vendor Coordination:
- Liaise with caterers, decorators, photographers, and other vendors to ensure smooth planning and execution of events.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to secure the best services within budget.
2. Creative Ideation:
- Generate and present unique wedding concepts that align with the clients' vision and preferences.
- Stay updated on the latest wedding trends and incorporate them into planning strategies.
3. Client Servicing:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Manage client communications, provide updates, and address concerns promptly and professionally.
4. Planning and Presentation:
- Create detailed plans, timelines, and budgets for wedding events.
- Develop and present ideas, schedules, and progress using PowerPoint and other tools.
5. Data Management and Organization:
- Utilize Excel for budgeting, task tracking, and managing guest lists.
- Ensure all planning documents and records are accurate and up-to-date.
6. Communication and Problem Solving:
- Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Quickly resolve issues and adapt plans to ensure successful event execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in wedding or event planning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
