Job Description
Therole entails providing banking solutions to the InstitutionalClients in Government, Financial Institutions, Corporates and TASCSegments with a focus on liabilities and fee income and ensure bestin class relationship management and client experience to becometheir banking partner of choice.
Therole bearer is responsible for developing and managing relationshipwith key Institutional Clients, ensure acquisition of NTBInstitutional Clients for Liabilities (CASA / WTD) and Payments& Cash Management products. The role will closely collaboratewith the product teams and Branches as well as managing a team ofRelationship Managers to drive effective customer acquisition,servicing, anddeepening.
Role&Responsibilities
• Responsiblefor developing and managing relationship with State GovernmentDepartments leading to empanelment, Government Organisations,Autonomous Bodies, Financial Institutions, and large Trusts/ NGOsin the assigned geography/Zone.
• Responsiblefor acquiring NTB (New to Bank) Clients for Government &Institutional Business in the assigned geography/ Zone with adetailed understanding of Liability Products.
• Ensuredeepening of ETB (Existing to Bank) Book through existingrelationships for Government & Institutional Business in theassigned geography/ Zone
• Knowledgeand understanding of Payments & Cash Management, variousElectronic Payment Products, Government Agency Business and basicunderstanding of Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange. Demonstrateability in understanding of client's requirements andconceptualizing possible solutions/propositions
• Developcollaborative relationship with other Business Heads/ Verticals ofthe Bank in the assigned geography/ Zone for cross leveragingsynergy optimization and work within the Overall Bank Eco Systemwith otherStakeholders
• Evaluategrowth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback fromdifferent channels/clients
• Developsuperior working relationship with Branches in the assignedgeography / Zone for efficient servicing of existing InstitutionalClients and support them for acquiring NTB Clients for Government& InstitutionalBusiness.
• Responsiblefor ensuring achievement of budgets by the Branches in the assignedgeography/ cluster by providing necessary product trainings,proposals etc. in coordination with Zonal Office/ HeadOffice.
Managerial& LeadershipResponsibilities
• Attractand retain good talent for the role of Relationship Managers intheir reportingstructure
• Monitorkey business parameters on employee productivity, hiring qualityand attrition rates and make necessaryimprovements
