JOB TITLE : Zonal Marketing Manager

DEPARTMENT : Sales & Field Marketing

POSITION REPORTING TO

Zonal Sales Manager

Objective

Responsible for implementation of marketing strategies in the zone, subject to budget parameters at Zonal and Territory levels and support zonal sales objective.

Job Responsibilities
• Lead & support Business growth
• Work closely with SBU Marketing Head, Crop Managers and initiate development of campaign plans for brand promotion of specific products & Crop packages
• Facilitate the sales team in achieving their objectives/ budgets/ targets through:
• Enriching their product knowledge partnering with OE Team & drive LMS in their respective zones to build technical learning culture
• Monitoring & reporting sales campaign with specific objectives like - liquidation, demonstrations and farmer meets, field days, conduct post market campaign audits

(c ) Arranging promotional inputs timely such as leaflets, posters, banners, POP
• Planning & Allocation of Demo samples

(e ) Allocation and monitoring of sales promotion spend budgets at Zone and Territory level as per the potential and priorities
• Responsible in selection & appointing of Temporary staff
• Assist in obtaining the sales permissions from the Department of Agriculture and arranging Principal certificates
• Maintain rapport with Agricultural Institutes, Research Stations, KVKs.
• Provide guidance in organizing Product/ Strategy meets and Trade Meets .
• Maintain data regarding dealers, farmers / village level.
• Provide weekly MIS to HO
• Work in consultation with Tactical Marketing Head on implementation of marketing strategy for respective zone
• Improve Business Quality
• Implement crop specific/ product specific/ segment specific marketing strategies
• Drive strategy meets and trade meets in coordination with the sales team
• Develop market intelligence & knowledge conducive to business development, by assessing the crop - wise / product wise potential and existing market size
• Guide sales team in identifying the right product fit against competition.
• Give timely communication of relevant marketing information and submit weekly, monthly marketing reports for review
• Training / implementation of CRM applications & Ensure 100% utilisation.

Team Management
• Ensuring capability development of the FOs and improving the FO productivity
• Nurture and build a technically strong team for Sales
