Job Description
• Set up a highly effective and capable Sales Organization for nationwide sales, build sales strategies and drive sales growth.
• Lead the sales teams in translating strategy into sales business plans and execute the go-to-market strategy within budgeted costs.
• Drive sales revenue and margin growth of products through product promotion, drive focus products, product wise market assessment, product gap analysis, competition analysis
• Establishing sales objectives - by forecasting and developing annual sales plan for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products
• Ensure achievement of Monthly and Annual Sales Targets in line with the AOP and meet market share targets.
• Get customer and competition intelligence and ensure optimal product placement as per Business/ product ownership guidelines.
• Establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
• Maintaining sales volume product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
• Actively engaging with the key accounts strategically for developing business relationships
• Generate leads for new customer acquisition, new market/application penetration and scale up, on boarding and supply regularization
• Setting up of suitable price discovery mechanism, ensuring business consistency at the set prices
• Be the custodian of Customer Relationship Management by putting together a customer engagement approach.
Drive the entire team towards customer centricity.
• Constantly exploring untapped markets and utilizing maximum potential of existing markets by monitoring Regions
• Develop new channel partners for business growth.
• Be the ambassador of the organization to the counterparties for positioning as a global major by actively participating in local and international business & industry forums and conferences to expand industry contacts, and gain access to valuable information
• Working Capital Management ? to ensure receivables are controlled so as minimize the working capital cycle.
• Complaint and Conflict Resolution ? ensure closure of customer claims within the defined SLAs which may be revised from time to time
• Coaching sales team on the technical aspects of the organization products; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets

Tech + MBA (preferable) Experience Required · Person should have experience in setting up large sales teams, driving GTM for new product and demonstrated hands-on ability of fast scaling up of product sales pan India in FMCG/FMCD or building materials industry.
• Candidate shall have demonstrated driving high growth in sales volume over last 3-5 years, should be self-driven and ambitious with ability to work in high pressure environments in uncharted territories.
• Candidate should have deep understanding of sales basics ? systems, controls and processes
• 15 to 18 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing.
At least 3 years of national sales head experience.
