In this role, you will deliver fun, high-energy Zumba classes that get participants moving, smiling and coming back for more. Through your enthusiasm and expertise, you'll help members build confidence, improve their fitness, and feel genuinely connected to their community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Zumba Instructor, you will:
Deliver high quality Zumba classes within all prescribed program formats / guidelines
Ensure the required Group Fitness Studio is set up and class is ready to start as per scheduled time, and studio is packed up at end of class
Ensure the health and safety of all participants
Build genuine rapport with members and staff, fostering a sense of belonging and community
Stay current with industry standards through ongoing self-development and actively contribute to the broader fitness program and centre events
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y
Successful candidates for our Group Fitness Instructor role will also have, or be willing to obtain:
(HLTAID009) Provide CPR
Professional Registration with applicable governing body (AusActive)
Nationally recognised Zumba certification
Certificate III or IV in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader certification (Desirable)
Group Exercise Leader (GEL) certificate (Desirable)
