Senior Zuora Developer – Billing & Revenue
Location: India (Kolkata, Bengaluru)
Type: Full-time | Permanent
Department: Revenue Operations / Engineering
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Zuora Developer with experience in Zuora Billing and/or Zuora Revenue (RevPro) to join our cross-functional Finance and Engineering teams. This hybrid role bridges finance operations with technical development, focusing on the full quote-to-revenue lifecycle — from billing automation to accurate revenue recognition.
You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable Zuora-based solutions, supporting integrations with ERP, CRM, and financial systems, and ensuring compliance with revenue standards like ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
This is a high-impact opportunity for someone passionate about subscription billing systems and revenue automation within a dynamic, growth-oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities Zuora Platform Development
Design, implement, and optimize workflows in Zuora Billing using REST APIs, ZOQL, and Liquid scripting.
Configure and maintain Product Catalogs, templates, notifications, and subscription workflows.
Develop custom solutions for billing scenarios, quote-to-cash workflows, amendments, and renewals.
Zuora Revenue (RevPro) Operations
Configure and maintain Zuora Revenue including contracts, policies, rules, and schedules.
Support month-end and quarter-end revenue close processes and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate, compliant revenue recognition in line with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
System Integration & Collaboration
Partner with Finance, IT, and Engineering teams to integrate Zuora with ERP (NetSuite/Oracle/SAP) and CRM (Salesforce/CPQ).
Lead data migration and maintain data integrity across systems.
What You Bring
3+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora — Billing, Revenue, or both.
Strong knowledge of Zuora REST APIs, workflows, ZOQL, data models, and integration best practices.
Experience with ERP systems and financial data integrations is a plud
Understanding of subscription models, billing cycles, and revenue recognition principles.
Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide solutions independently.
Effective communicator with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Operations.
Nice to Have: Zuora Certification and exposure to Salesforce
