CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Taber
Central Elementary School is an Early Learning to Grade 5 school. Our 25 staff provide service to approximately 240 students from the Town of Taber and surrounding area.
0.50 FTE Temporary Elementary Generalist Teacher
Taber Central School is seeking a temporary Elementary Generalist. Central School is a collaborative space where staff work with one another within a holistic, student-first approach. Teacher education and experience specific to English Language Arts and/or Numeracy, such as intervention and enrichment, would be considered an asset. Additional training, experience or professional development in other areas could include, but is not limited to: planning and delivering units/lessons in Science, Physical Education, new curriculum implementation and working with English as Additional Language Learners. An understanding of inclusion and the ability to implement and support diverse, complex learners would be seen as a strength.
The position commences August 18, 2026, and concludes February 26, 2026, or upon return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first.
