Job Description
A SEMH secondary school located a short walk from Lee station in South East London, are looking for a resilient, learning support assistants to work with secondary aged students who have social, emotional mental health and unable to attend a mainstream school due to their needs.
They are looking for someone who can act as a role model to the students and someone who will be able to apply strategies in order to manage challenging behaviour as well as engaging the students in their work.
This role is Monday to Friday and the working hours are 8.30am to 3.45pm with an early finish on a Friday. You MUST be able to work Monday to Friday every week as this is a full time role.
In order to be considered for this role, you MUST have previous experience supporting students with SEMH ( social emotional mental health) and challenging behaviour. You MUST also have experience working in a special needs school.
Pay is £100 per day.
