2nd-3rd grade self-contained classroom
6th-8th grade ELA, math, and/or social studies
6th-8th grade resource support
In this role, you will provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success. Responsibilities include creating an inclusive learning environment, utilizing differentiated teaching strategies, and advocating for students’ academic, social, and behavioral growth.
Details:
Location: In-person (no hybrid or remote options)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-3:15pm
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.
Illinois state teaching certification in Special Education.
Professional Educator License (PEL) in the state of Illinois.
