Monarch Education are an approved provider for Trafford LEA, so I am urgently recruiting 1-2-1 tutors to work within that borough.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE A QUALIFIED TEACHER, OR HAVE SUBSTANTIAL TUITION EXPERIENCE.
The children that you would be working with are often 'looked after' and are experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties such as Attachment Disorder, and could have experienced severe trauma - some pupils may also have other additional needs such as a learning disability or Autism. You would be required to deliver Maths & English up to GCSE level, or at Functional Skills level -often, pupils are not working to age-related expectations.
• Tuition assignments are usually 2 hours per day (within school hours) - times are flexible.
• You can accept as many assignments as your schedule will allow! You would be required to complete weekly summary reports, and half-termly progress reports.
• Tuition usually needs to be put in place very quickly, so would not suit anyone working full time who has to work a notice period.
• You must either be a qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) or have substantial and recent tuition experience from which we can gain references.
• You must have an enhanced, child workforce DBS on the update service - we can assist you with a new application if you do not have this.
